Clydebank Housing Association are marketing 36 flats in Dean Street, Clydebank, under their Homestake low cost home ownership scheme.    This scheme aims to help people on low incomes, and some others, purchase a home.   Under this scheme, the Housing Association fund part of the house while the buyer funds the rest, usually 60% - 80% of the total.

Because Homestake is aimed at those on low incomes, those who are disabled and those who are struggling with their current housing situation, all those applying for the scheme will be strictly means tested.   However, the scheme is not restricted to tenants of Clydebank Housing Association - anyone meeting the criteria can apply.

The flats in Dean Street are newbuild and are due to be completed in May 2008.  All the properties have two double bedrooms, with one en-suite. The closing date to register an interest in the scheme is 30th November 2007.
