make it work  is a campaign to support unemployed people in West Dunbartonshire back into work – whatever their circumstances.

A partnership of local services and voluntary organisations, committed to making a difference to peoples’ lives, is helping local residents make a life-changing journey by preparing them for employment and engaging with local employers to find them jobs.

make it work  identifies personal qualities, skills and qualifications and builds on these to boost confidence and create opportunities through voluntary, part-time or full-time work, improving the health, wealth and well-being of the individual.

The campaign is West Dunbartonshire’s Workforce Plus initiative set up by the Scottish Government to reduce disadvantage and inequality by increasing support and assistance for the unemployed to move from welfare into work. This is part of the vision of West Dunbartonshire’s Community Plan.
